Tucson, Ariz. – University of Arizona men’s and No. 11 women’s track and field hosted the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks for the annual UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual. The meet was held at Roy P. Drachman Stadium on Saturday.

On the women’s side, UA beat ASU with a score of 106.5 to 91.5. UA also beat NAU 124 to 65. ASU also beat NAU with a score of 116 to 66. It is the second-straight year the UA women have swept the competition.

“I am very excited about what we were able to accomplish in this competition,” head coach Fred Harvey said. “We ran fast, we jumped high and far, we threw far but the spirit that the athletes came out with in this meet was big time for us going into the Pac-12 Championships. I’m so excited about the attitude the team has and that’s the thing we have been working on all year with this team, to develop a championship-level attitude. We got close to beating the ASU men but we came through and took care of business on the ladies side and beat those devils.”
