[Men's Cross Country] SXU Men's Cross Country Takes 19th at NAIA Cross Country National MeetPublished by
Lawrence, Kan. - The Saint Xavier University men's cross country team completed its 2013 season with a 19th place finish overall in the highly competitive 32-team field at the NAIA Cross Country National Championship at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kan., Saturday. It was the highest team postseason finish for the Cougars in the 10-year history of the program. SXU was led by senior Brian Corcoran (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice), who ended his brilliant collegiate cross country career with a 58th place individual finish among the 313 runners who competed with a time of 25:32.
