[Women's Cross Country] Courtney Rouse Finishes Top 15 at DuPage InvitePublished by
Wheaton, IL – The Lady Hawk runners returned to action on Friday, September 27th with the College of DuPage Invitational. In yet another deep field, Illinois Tech women's scored 171 points and finished 6th out of 24 participating teams. Courtney Rouse was again IIT's top finisher, in 14th place. Sara Glade was 28th and Anne Croutteau 43rd. Greta Zola and April Wanagas raced together and finished 61st and 63rd for Scarlet Hawks, rounding our scoring five. Tech scored 171 points which was also impressive enough to beat DI Chicago State, DII Quincy University, DIII Concordia University and Maranatha Baptist College and also higher than NAIA teams Robert Morris, Roosevelt University and Calumet College of St Joe's. Tess Ehrhardt from UIC won the race in 18:11. In the team standings, UIC got the win, 36-38, over University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. A distant 3rd was University of Wisconsin Green-Bay, scoring 131 points. Next race is Lucian Rosa Invite, hosted by University of Wisconsin Parkside, October 12.
