NSAF opens late entry window for Virginia

A winter storm has caused the Virginia High School League to reschedule the Class 3A/4A and 5A/6A Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meets, originally schedule to start today (March 5), will now be held Monday and Tuesday, March 9-10. 

This schedule change has caused a ripple affect that also impacts New Balance Nationals Indoor. 

The National Scholastic Athletics Foundation has extended the entry deadline for Virginia athletes and teams. A special "late entry" link for Virginia will be opened on he NSAF web page for the NBNI meet at noon EDT on Monday, March 9 and will remain open until Tuesday, March 10 at 8 p.m. EDT -- about two and a half hours after the conclusion of the meet. This temporary entry system is for Virginia only. 

The meet will be seeded after the 8 p.m. deadline and start lists will be announced on Wednesday, March 11.

The NBNI is set for March 13-15 at the New Balance Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York City.
