Extending its commitment to enhance the coverage of track and field in Canada, Athletics Canada is proud to announce the long-term extension and expansion of its AthleticsCanada.tv platform, in partnership with RunnerSpace.com, to provide viewers unprecedented coverage of the sport both domestically and internationally.
Launched in 2015, in partnership with RunnerSpace, AthleticsCanada.tv has streamed over 20 track and field, road racing and cross country events in it’s first year, showcasing Canada’s top track and field stars as well as youth, high school, collegiate and international athletes.
The 2016 spring and early summer road racing and high school championship events have all shown viewership growth over last year with interest growing each day leading into the Canadian Championships and Olympic/Paralympic Selection Trials through the #ACRoadToRio video series. The action on AthleticsCanada.tv resumes this Friday, June 17 with a loaded Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome International Track Classic and is followed up with the four remaining National Track League events, and then the Trials in Edmonton.
In addition to all of the great action AthleticsCanada.tv showcases, fans have the opportunity to sign up for a +PLUS membership. All +PLUS subscribers receive full access to additional live and on-demand events, archives and original series produced by RunnerSpace through existing partnerships beyond AthleticsCanada.tv, including USATF.TV, ArmoryTrack.com and DyeStat.com at no extra charge.
