Athlete Overview

Step after step, mile after mile, we recognize the determination, hard work and commitment it takes to be successful in this sport. That's the whole reason we started the Distance Gala. We wanted to have a meet where athletes could showcase their talent against the best competition, in an exciting setting (under the lights, loud music).

Over the past six years, the Distance Gala has grown into one of the premier post-season meets in the United States. We've drawn athletes from over 25 states, seen numerous U.S. top five performances and hosted dozens of athletes that have gone on to compete at the Division I level

The 2010 edition of the Distance Gala was incredible. Numerous meet records were broken, handfuls of U.S. top ten performances were run, and once again the top talent in the country took to the track and showcased just how strong a meet the Distance Gala has become. However, we know this year will be even better and we want you to be apart of it.

Coaches Overview

It's all about opportunity. The more opportunities an athlete has to compete at the highest level, the more likely they'll succeed, exceed expectations, and take their athletic abilities to the next level. That's what we're about at the Distance Gala. We provide opportunities for athletes to achieve success, to reach higher, to push harder. That's been our mission since day one five years ago.

We know it takes years for athletes to reach their true potential, we know coaches play a giant role in that, and that's why we like working with coaches to make sure athletes get the opportunities to compete in the best setting possible. We hope the Distance Gala will be an experience that you and your athletes will remember for years to come.

Spectators Overview

The Distance Gala is back yet again, for the seventh time, bringing families, fans, friends, coaches and athletes together for some of the best sports competition found anywhere. Building on the success of the past four years, we head into year five knowing it will be the best year yet. Bringing the best high school distance runners in the country to one location, under the lights, with loud music and a professional feel, makes the Distance Gala a can't miss event.

Better yet, we offer fan-friendly ticket prices ($5 adults, $3 students, children 12 and under get in free). We believe that taking your family to a sporting event shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg, we believe in making great competition accessible to everyone.
