One Day Left: The Bowerman 2013 To Be Presented Tomorrow Evening ::: U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)

ORLANDO, Fla. – Tomorrow is the big day. Tomorrow, one man and one woman will be awarded The Bowerman Trophy as the most outstanding collegiate track & field performers of the 2012-13 season.

This highest individual honor in the sport of collegiate track & field will be awarded in a ceremony at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla., that will be emceed by ESPN’s John Anderson and broadcast live and free online at Flotrack.org beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Carpet Show.

Arizona high jumper Brigetta Barrett, Stanford hurdler Kori Carter and Clemson hurdler Brianna Rollins are the three women’s finalists vying for the women’s award.

The trio set five collegiate records this season: Rollins three times, twice in the 100 hurdles and once in the indoor 60 hurdles; Barrett in the high jump; and Carter in the 400 hurdles.

For the men, Indiana high jumper Derek Drouin, distance runner Lawi Lalang of Arizona and UCLA discus thrower Julian Wruck are all up for the trophy.

This triumvirate claimed a total of seven NCAA titles this year. Lalang won the mile and 3000 meters indoors and the 5000 and 10,000 meters outdoors; Drouin the indoor and outdoor high jump titles; and Wruck in the discus.

Ryan Fenton and Alex Lohr of Flotrack will greet and interview the finalists during the Red Carpet Show as they enter the ceremony, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET, before they hand it off to Anderson for the award show. Viewers need only to sign in to Flotrack or create an account to watch the award show in its entirety for free.
