With the unofficial state hammer championships on tap next weekend, Capital High School seniors Olivia Midles (Capital, Olympia, WA) and Jordan Arakawa (Capital, Olympia, WA) look to bring home both the boys and girls titles for their school.  Midles threw 162'6" and easily won the girl's competition at last Sunday's Spring Fling hammer competition by nearly 30 feet.  Arakawa launched a ten foot personal best of 214'3".  Jon Lawson (Prairie, Vancouver, WA) also threw a personal best of 203'5", his first time over 200 feet.
