Lilly Stebbins, who recently completed her eighth grade year at Challis Middle School in Idaho, placed second in the girls 15-16 division high jump final with a 5-5 (1.65m) clearance on her second attempt at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Stebbins and Waverly Woolever of Hamilton Heights High in Indiana both cleared 5-5 on their second opportunities, but Woolever made 5-3 (1.60m) on her first attempt, with Stebbins needing three tries to extend the competition.
