UNIVERSAL SPORTS presents Stockholm Marathon LIVE (May 30th)

Universal Sports will be broadcasting LIVE coverage of the 2009 Stockholm Marathon this Saturday, May 30th

 

Stockholm, ranked as the No. 1 marathon destination in the world by The Ultimate Guide to International Marathons, by Dennis Craythorn and Rich Hanna, will host more than 18,500 runners, a record number for this event. This scenic route takes runners past many landmarks in Stockholm, including waterfalls, the Royal Palace, City Hall, Royal Opera House and the Houses of Parliament. The race concludes in the historic stadium created for the 1912 Olympic Games.

Boy it sure blows for those of us that don't have cable!  All you see on the local channels is golf and football and all the other ball sports!  Track and Field is the GREATEST sport EVER and yet our stupids non-cable networks don't show it very often!
