New Dad Quigley Excited to Race USA 20k ChampsPublished by
Sean Quigley, Former New Have Road Race Champion, Is Ready to RunPublished by New Haven Register on August 23, 2014 It’s an exciting time for Sean Quigley. And also a little bit tiring. Quigley, who is set to compete in the 37th annual Faxon Law New Haven Road Race on Sept. 1, and his wife, Jenna, just welcomed their first daughter, Antonella, into the world on Aug. 15. “It’s still really new and my parents have been out here all last week helping,” Quigley said. “It’s hard to explain, but it’s exciting.” Quigley, 29, who resides in Boulder, Colorado, and trains with the Boulder Track Club, has had a milestone summer on and off the running paths. He’s hoping that continues on Labor Day. This will be his fifth straight year competing in New Haven, a race which doubles as the USA Track and Field 20K National Championship. Quigley won here in 2010. “I’m excited to return,” Quigley said. “The first time in 2010 I won, and the last couple times haven’t been as successful, but I really feel that I’m in the best shape since 2010. I aim to win and I’m excited to get out there.” Read the full article at: www.nhregister.com
