Pan Am Games - Men's 4x400m Relay - Trinidad and Tobago won in 2:59.60 with a developing stable of 400m runners including 24 yo Jehue Gordon (2013 400m hurdles world champion) 26yo Lalonde Gordon (2012 Olympic bronze meddalist in the 400m) and 19 yo Machel Cedenio (Pan Am silver and 2014 World Junior champion in the 400m) and 27 yo Renny Quow (2009 world bronze meddalist). Second was Cuba in 2:59.84 (apparently dq'd but not official yet) and third was the US in 3:00.21 with Kyle Clemons, James Harris, Marcus Chambers and Kerron Clement running the legs.

Pan Am Games - Women's 4x400m Relay - US women win with all four members being collegians and all 20 or younger. Women's 400m hurdles champion Shamier Little (Texas A&M) gave the US the lead over the last 100m of the leg. She passed to Florida's Kyra Jefferson who extended the lead and she passed to Miami's 400m silver medallist, Shakima Wimbley. 400m gold medallist and Longhorn, Kendal Baisden anchored the relay and they ran 3:25.68 with a big win over Jamaica in 3:27.27 and Canada in 3:27.74

Pan Am Games - Men's 4x100m relay US - USC's Beejay Lee passed to Wallace Spearmon (Andre De Grasse gave Canada the lead on this leg) passed to Florida State's Kendal Williams who passed to Remontay McClain as the US lost to Canada but Canada was dq'd due to a lane violation on leg 1.

Pan Am Games - Men's 4x100m relay - US wins in 38.27 (USC's Beejay Lee is part of the pool of runners) ahead of Brazil in 38.68 and Trinidad and Tobago in 38.69. One of the favorites, Canada, was disqualified and Jamaica did not finish.

Pan Am Games - Women's 4x100m relay - US wins in a Pan Am Games record 42.58 with Kaylin Whitney and Texas' Morolake Akinsosun for sure part of the relay, 2nd was Jamaica in 42.68, Canada third in 43.00 as they edged Brazil in 43.01

Pan Am Games - Women's 1500m - Muriel Coneo of Colombia won the 1500m in 4:09.05 and Canadians went 2-3, Nicole Sifuentes in 4:09.13 and Sasha Gollish in 4:10.11.

Pan Am Games - Men's High Jump Derek Drouin (2.37m) led a Canadian 1-2 as Michael Mason cleared 2.31m for second. Bahamas Donald Thomas was third and cleared 2.38m. US and Texas A&M representative Jeron Robinson tied for fourth with US veteran Jesse Williams with a clerance of 2.28m

Pan Am Games - Collegiate Results - Women's Long Jump - Canada's Christabel Nettey won the long jump with a best of 6.90m, Bahama's Bianca Stuart was second with a best of 6.69m and Kentucky's Sha'Keela Saunders, representing the US, was third at 6.66m. Kansas State's Akela Jones was sixth with a best of 6.60m and NCAA champion from Alabama, Quanesha Burnks was 8th with a best of 6.47m.
