Brooks Running Signs NIL Deal with Gary MartinPublished by
Brooks Running Signs NIL Deal with Gary Martin Today Brooks Running announced a new NIL signing with middle-distance track and cross-country athlete Gary Martin, who holds an All-American title in the indoor mile and multiple school records as a sophomore at the University of Virginia. Gary's growing accolades on the track are paired with his burgeoning voice in the sport, further supported through his new partnership with Brooks.
“Gary is a phenomenal athlete with a huge runway in front of him and an already strong voice in our sport. Partnering with Gary expands our commitment to the sport through the NIL space and helps us reach new runners and fans of track and field,” said Garrett Heath, Head of Sports Marketing at Brooks. “We're proud to welcome Gary to Brooks, and we look forward to supporting him and his career.”
Gary’s recent PRs on the track have led to multiple school records this outdoors season, including his 3:37:66 finish in the 1500m in a mixed collegiate and professional field at Bryan Clay Invitational and a second-place finish in the 5K at Raleigh Relays with a time of 13:31:51. This weekend, Gary will be competing at Penn Relays as his outdoor season ramps up.
“I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Brooks family as I continue my collegiate career on and off the track! Some of my favorite memories from running thus far were at the Brooks PR Invitational, and I believe in what Brooks stands for as a brand,” said Gary Martin. “More than anything, I feel that Brooks believes in me, and that support was so important in my decision.”
