That's pretty admirable to run even after an over 10 hour day at work. I have trouble dragging my ass to the track for a workout after an 8-hour workday.  Keep up the running!

If you come into the race in good shape the elevation will effect you but not as much than if you deconditioned. I recommend adding hill repeats and speedwork intrevals to your running program.

Tim, I'm not in or around the NJ region, but my ex-brother-in-law was restoring a '63 Camaro. Is yours an older classic, or something newer?

Congrats on (relatively recently) picking up running, and congrats on the 5k PR. Any plans for a longer run?

Maybe getting chased by all thsoe Giants fans will make me run faster. lol

It is all in good fun either way.

I also reread the Draft Day 5k info, the finish line is actually on the field. That is going to be a pretty cool feeling. :D
