It will be a busy weekend for track and field stretching across both coasts this weekend with 2 major meets occuring on the same weekend. New Balance Nationals will be in Greensboro, North Carolina, running Friday through Sunday, and the 2015 Brooks PR Invitational is being held in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, June 20th.
Florida has received 7 accepted "Golden Ticket" invites to the meet and the entries are heavy with sprinters and hurdlers. DyeStat will be on site for coverage Saturday.
The Brooks PR Invitational aims to be a different kind of track meet focused on track action with no prelims or heats. Brooks aims to make the event "a breakneck afternoon of racing—the only one of its kind. No prelims. No downtime."
"The PR Invitational isn’t just about the meet. It’s a whole weekend designed to blow you away. We set up an athlete village in Seattle, full of games, music, a photo booth, and lots more exciting stuff."
