Step after step, mile after mile, we recognize the determination, hard work and commitment it takes to be successful in this sport. That's the whole reason we started the Midwest Distance Gala. We wanted to have a meet where athletes could showcase their talent against the best competition, in an exciting setting (under the lights, loud music).

Over the past five years, the Midwest Distance Gala has grown into one of the premier post-season meets in the United States. We've drawn athletes from over 25 states, seen numerous U.S. top five performances and hosted dozens of athletes that have gone on to compete at the Division I level

The 2008 edition of the Midwest Distance Gala was incredible. Seven meet records were broken, including the boys mile, which saw Minnesota's Rob Finnerty run the seventh fastest time in U.S. history, with his 4:01.09 performance. However, we know this year will be even better and we want you to be apart of it.
