PRE EVENT / POST EVENT ACTIVITY
6:00 PM - Friday night Pasta Party @ Holiday Inn and Conference Center Rt 9 Fishkill NY
For those coming in on Friday, Nov. 27, there will be a pre race pasta dinner at the meet headquarters, the Holiday Inn and Conference Center on Rt 9 in Fishkill at 6pm. The hotel is 10 minutes from the race course and rooms are $89 a night but going fast. See the hotel info on the website...... there are overflow hotels listed also.
The dinner is $16 including tax and tip... pasta with meat balls or marinara ( all you can eat ), salad, bread, dessert, soda, lemonade, coffee, tea. It's a great deal. All meals paid for in cash at the dinner. Please email Bob Baratta with your dinner reservations at bobrun8@gmail.com. Please register by Nov 24. If you register please attend as we have guaranteed the hotel a large number. All are invited. Parents, athletes, fans, coaches are welcome. We will have room for a limited number of walk ins at the door and some seating for those who wish to see the program and not partake of the dinner.
Olympian Anna Willard and author Matt McCue ( "An Honorable Run" - a must read ) are the featured guest speakers with NYRRC Announcer Ian Brooks as the MC. There will be some NIKE giveaways during the evening. Bring team Tee shirts as we will have a Tee Shirt exchange before the dinner.
It's a can't miss evening.
