Dates Announced For 2010 Oregon Relays, Presented by OCCU

The 2010 edition of the Oregon
Relays, presented by Oregon Community Credit Union, will feature some of the
nation’s best professional, collegiate, and high school athletes on April 30-May
1 at Historic Hayward Field.
The meet will occur one week
later than it has been held in recent years, but the competition schedule format will
remain similar.
Friday night will feature
distance races from 1,500 meters through 10,000 meters and selected field
events, while a Saturday afternoon high-performance session will include the
sprints, jumps, hurdles, and remaining field events. A meet information packet
and competition schedule will be posted on GoDucks.com in Fall 2009.
The
date change will also bump the Oregon Twilight back a week to May 8.
The remainder of the 2010 track and field schedule, which culminates in
the Ducks hosting the NCAA Championships, will be released later this
summer.
