About Event

Introducing the 2008 Running Film Festival (RFF) - A celebration of all things running!

Not only will the RFF showcase the latest and greatest running films and documentaries, many of which will be making their world premier, but it will also feature elite athletes, celebrities of the sport, and Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.

RFF will take place at the heart of U.S. running in Eugene, OR on July 3, 4 & 5 in Columbia 150 on the University of Oregon campus. It will also coincide with the Trials (don't worry - it won't interfere with any of the races!).

To get a sneak peak at the movie lineup (which includes “Run Reckless”, “Spirit of the Marathon”, “The Long Green Line”, and “Run for Your Life”, and many more), to see what celebrities will be making guest appearances, and for more information, please visit www.runningfilmfestival.com

TICKETS will be on sale JUNE 1ST at runningfilmfestivals.com and at the venue box office on July 3, 4 & 5 (University of Oregon - Columbia 150). The event is expected to sell out, so secure your tickets as soon possible.

*** *** ***

The first annual Running Film Festival (RFF) is being organized by Phil Knowlton, a NYC-based video editor, Adam Jacobs, the Editor-in-Chief of TheFinalSprint.com, and Jake Klim, a TV producer in Washington, DC – all longtime runners with undying love for track & field, cross country, road racing and marathon running.

We hope that the RFF brings new-found interest to the great sport of running, fuels the passion of die hard fans and trackies, and gets everyone fired up for the Trials!

RFF is proudly presented by Nissan and is sponsored by TheFinalSprint.com and Running Times.
