Hello Coaches,
I would like to invite you and your high schools cross country team to the 1st annual NXN Heartland Preview to be held in Sioux Falls on September 12th, 2009.  The meet will be sponsored by Nike and the University of Sioux Falls. It will be during your regular cross country season this fall.

As I said, the meet will be held in Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at Yankton Trail Park.  The meet will be an invitational for all teams, all classes, from SD, MN, NE, ND, and IA.  The meet is sanctioned with the SDHSAA.

Please e-mail us back at riegalizer@sio.midco.net  and let us know if you plan to put this meet on your schedule for this fall. We need to get an idea of how many teams are planning on attending as soon as possible.  South Dakota needs a great cross country invitational during the regular season and thanks to Nike and USF we have the opportunity to put together what will prove to be an outstanding early season cross country meet.

Reasons your team should attend the 2009 Nike Heartland Preview
-Your only chance to run the NXN course before the Heartland Regional on Nov. 14th
-Run against some of the best teams from SD, ND, MN, IA and NEB
-Great early season regional meet with a championship atmosphere
-Flat course for early season
-Have a chance to be seen by area college coaches as college men and women will toe the line prior to the high school races
-Great Nike apparel/shoes for sale
-This meet will likely be attended by several of the regions top programs, so it’s a great chance for teams to make a strong impression with the NXN At-Large Teams Selection Committee.
