Who I Am...

My name is Jon Terrazas and I'm a USA Track & Field and RRCA certified coach.  I am a former U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Officer and have spent the majority of my adulthood dedicating myself to running and fitness. 

I'm happily married with two children and live in Las Vegas, NV.  In the summer, it is very difficult to get mileage in due to the sweltering heat, but luckily we are only 45 minutes away from Mt. Charleston (8,000 + feet in elevation) and 15 minutes from Cottonwood Valley hiking and bike trails (4,000 feet elevation).

This page is set up to keep my circle of running friends and partners updated on my racing events, training locations, and travel arrangements.  I will attempt to keep this updated as much as possible.  Take care and keep safe.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PROGRAM

My strength and conditioning program will be on a three week cycle that will consist of eight different workouts throughout my marathon training regiment.  This strength and conditioning program will repeat itself every three weeks and begins for me on week four due to my lower back injury.  This program will follow the given cycle;

First Week - Range of Motion, Kettlebells, and Core

Second Week - Medicine Balls, Plyometrics, and Stability Balls.

Third Week - Olympic Lifts and Natural Weight Resistance
